T. J. Magnetos is a family run business started in June 2017, we run the business on old school values of a good service at a fair price, treating all our customers magnetos/dynamos as if there were our own. We only take on a small amount of work, which allows us to focus on each magneto/dynamo in a totally relaxed environment, which ensures a first class job every time.

I started the business after embarking on a journey to learn magneto/dynamo restoration off my father, who has over 40 years experience working on magnetos and dynamos, he also has a lifetime of motorcycle racing, classic bike building and riding motorcycles behind him, and it is him who i owe the gratitude to for passing on his knowledge of magnetos/dynamos in a totally patient manner.

 The business is ran from our home workshop where we have a vast variety of tools and equipment required to carry out the work on magnetos/dynamos, we also have a good stock of replacement used and new parts which we can select from to repair our customers magneto/dynamo, and also some new and used parts that we occasionally offer for sale.

We like to try and utilise as much of the customers magneto/dynamo as possible to keep them as original as we can and this also allows us to keep the price down to a realistic and affordable amount, which we always try to do, as this is also a hobby of ours as well as a business.
